Marina Walk Plot Consultation and Management
Canadian Roads Transport and Civil Engineering Consultancy (CRTC) was commissioned by M/s Architecture and Planning Group (APG) on behalf of National Investment Corporation (NIC) to prepare the Road Design and Civil/Groundwork Consultancy Services for the Marina Walk project in Abu Dhabi.
Project Description
The project involved the development of Marina Shore – NICTC #411 situated on Breakwater Island near the Corniche in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., adjacent to Marina Mall. This area boasted diverse building types, including the Marina Mall (retail), Fairmont Hotel (hotel), and luxury villas. Marina Walk comprised retail, F&B, and entertainment areas resembling Dubai's City Walk, featuring clusters of food and beverage outlets along a beach walkway, commercial pavilions, plazas, and an open amphitheater with media and interactive elements.
Project Location
Located in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the development site strategically occupied the western end of Abu Dhabi Corniche, accessible from the southwest via the existing ring road. The Marina Mall Car Parking Hub dominated much of the frontage visible from the main road. Our scope covered a plot area of 148,491 m² for the proposed Marina Walk development, with a GFA of 20,933 m².
