CRTC Consultancy has been commissioned by The Department of Municipal Affairs, Municipality of Abu Dhabi City (ADM) to conduct On-Call Services for Traffic Count Surveys at various junctions and links across Abu Dhabi Municipal Roads.

Project Description

The anticipated Yearly Traffic Count Program encompasses seven (7) distinct Survey Types, each specifying Count Locations (including Abu Dhabi Access Bridges, Mid-Block Road Segments, Intersections, Roundabouts, Sector Access Points, and Road Sections), Units (No. of Lanes, Intersection, Roundabout, Right-in Right-out Junction, and Kilometer), Quantities (ranging from 20 to 80), and Durations (varying from 7 days to 24 hours, with specific peak period roundtrip requirements).

The project is based in the City of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Role of CRTC Consultancy

CRTC Consultancy has been tasked with the following responsibilities for the On-Call Services for Traffic Count Surveys in the City of Abu Dhabi:

• Conducting 7 Days Link Counts using Automatic Traffic Recorders (ATRs)

• Performing 24 Hours Link Counts using Automatic Traffic Recorders (ATRs)

• Conducting Video-Based Peak-Hour Turning Movement Counts (TMCs) at Intersections

• Performing Video-Based Peak-Hour Turning Movement Counts (TMCs) at Roundabouts

• Conducting Manual-Based Peak-Hour Turning Movement Counts (TMCs) at Intersections
